CIMARRON — Boy Scouts of America National Commissioner Ellie Morrison took time out to visit with the members of the recovery crews at the Philmont Scout Ranch. As the national commissioner, Morrison is in the top three most important positions for in the organization. Morrison was at the Philmont Training Center last week for sessions and decided to visit with members of the Philmont Recovery Corps and to deliver refreshments to those who are working so hard with the recovery efforts. Morrison talked and shook hands with those staff members who are there aiding in the recovery after the Ute Park Fire that destroyed parts of the scout ranch. Special thanks to the recovery corps who are working so hard to improve the health of the forest.
