The Trinidad City Council and the Las Animas County Commissioners will be hosting the 2nd Annual Winter Legislative Roundtable on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Trinidad State Junior College Pioneer Room from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
The Roundtable will cover community wide topics including the effect of the Gallagher Amendment on Las Animas County, opioids in the community, the ongoing work of the Trinidad State Junior College Foundation, the Council of Governments Early Childhood Center, recent impacts to the LAC Health & Human Services Department, the Space to Create project in downtown Trinidad and the vision for Fisher’s Peak.
Elected Officials participating in the roundtable will be the Trinidad City Council, the Las Animas County Commissioners, Colorado State Representative Kimmi Lewis, Colorado State Senator Larry Crowder and representatives from the offices of Congressman Ken Buck, Senator Cory Gardner and Senator Michael Bennett.
This meeting is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Comments will be limited to the roundtable participants but the audience is invited to submit questions for the panelist and the presenters.
