Mark McDonald stops off in Raton

RATON — Mark McDonald, candidate for New Mexico House of Representatives, District 67 which includes Colfax County, was in Raton on Saturday meeting the residents and explaining his platform.

McDonald is eager to engage younger people with the political process, creating incentives for renewable energy use, making New Mexico more friendly to retirees, and of course, rural economic development, education, and healthcare. He believes that New Mexico must begin to make better capital investments in the future. McDonald, himself a young man with ideas, seems like a logical choice for encouraging young people to begin to make themselves heard politically.
